November 2008 Praxis Perspective

Hello again, everyone. Fall has been incredibly busy and just as the landscape and foliage changes at this time of the year, so do many other things! Our office has seen some changes. We have had to say farewell to one of our valued staff members and have welcomed aboard a few new people. Change is always good. Sometimes its scary and forces us out of the box but that is also the essence of Entrepreneurship. The willingness to try new and challenging things in spite of the risk is what makes it exciting. New ideas, fresh approaches and diverse skills all combine to form this wonderful network of ours!

Change is also happening quite rapidly around our new office. We have parking spots now and it appears that 19th Street is getting very close to re-opening! The area in front of the New Farmer’s Market has been a hive of activity. Mountains of dirt have been moved and the landscape seems to change hourly. Each passing day seems to give us a sneak peek at what it to come!

This is also a time for us to be thinking about our fallen soldiers of WWI and II, Korea, Vietnam, Peace Keepers and our troops who are currently overseas, fighting. These men and women gave and continue to give of themselves so that we can have the opportunities that we do, here in this great country of Canada. Please remember to take time for a couple moments of silence on November 11th.

This edition of The Praxis Perspective has some good information on The Saskatchewan Worker’s Compensation Board, our Praxis Profile and more in our series on Sales Tips. As well, “The Four Generations in Your Workplace”, contributed by Wieger’s Benefits is well worth a read. Thanks for your continued interest. Have a safe, blessed Holiday Season.
